I think most of the people are not aware of retailing and diferent formats of retailing. Even if they know it also they are not able to distinguish the retail business. I think this posting will help them to recognize the category of retail business.

Retailing :-
In simple, retailing details with the activities involved in selling commodities to consumers.
The word retail retail comes from the French word called "retaillier".

In common words, a retailer buys goods in large quantities from manufacturers, either directly or through a wholesalers, and then sells smaller quantities to the end-user. This overall process is called as Retailing
